Since the release of their debut album “I’m Not Gonna Lie to You” in 2010, Australian Skate-Punk band, The Decline, have grown to be a recognisable name in the international punk community. The release of their sophomore album “Are You Going To Eat That” in 2011, scored the band a headlining tour of Europe, a Japanese tour with Israeli pop-punkers Useless ID and So-Cal 90′s super band Implants, and a coveted mid-afternoon spot at Soundwave Festival in Perth. Soon after in early 2014, The Decline released the fully crowd-funded “Can I Borrow A Feeling” EP before jumping straight back into a heavy touring schedule.

2015 saw a lineup shuffle, however this didn’t slow them down. The Decline headed straight back into the studio to record their 3rd album, Resister which will be released on Adelaide based Punk/Hardcore label Pee Records on June 12th2015. It will also be released on Bird Attack (USA) and Cargo Records (Europe/UK)

Their first single off the record, ‘Giving Up Is A Gateway Drug’, was premiered on Triple J’s Short.Fast.Loud has recently been added to the renowned Triple J Unearthed radio rotation.

Following on from Resister, the band released their epic latest album ‘Flash Gordon Ramsay Street’ in 2019, prior to a split with california’s Sic Waiting in December 2020.

Since their formation, some highlights of their time as a band include flying to Colorado in 2009 to record their debut album at The Blasting Room with Bill Stevenson (Descendents/Black Flag/ ALL) and Jason Livermore, completing numerous Australian Tours and hundreds of shows nationally and internationally, a WAMi Nomination for “Punk Act of the Year” and “Punk Song of The Year” as well as being lucky enough to share the stage with many of their favourite bands including Descendents, Unwritten Law, Frenzal Rhomb, Propagandhi, Bodyjar, Bouncing Souls, Anti-Flag, Lagwagon, No Use For A Name, No Fun At All, Guttermouth, Strike Anywhere, Smoke Or Fire, Pour Habit, The Flatliners, and Nikola Sarcevic (Millencolin).

The Decline have impressed many melodic punk fans worldwide with their fast-paced and energetic style, and catchy lyrical hooks.
