Battered & Bruised: The Best Of Phinius Gage Out Now!

Friday, October 27th, 2017

Disconnect Disconnect Records are very excited to today be releasing the best of album from one of our favourite ever UK bands, Brighton’s skatepunk legends Phinius Gage. The Gage were a staple of the UK punk rock scene from the early 2000’s until they split in 2008, releasing 4 main releases, 2003’s mini-album ‘More Haste More Speed‘ and 2005’s ‘The Feeling Something’s Wrong‘ on UK power house Deck Cheese (Not Katies, Vanilla Pod, No Comply etc); before releasing ‘Brighton Rock‘ in 2006 on Fond Of Life (Germany) and final full length ‘Seek Out Your Foes… And Make Them Sorry‘ through Fond Of Life and Small Town Records (UK).

Since Phinius Gage ended, the band members have been busy in various guises, most notably to Disconnect Disconnect fans will be bassist / singer Mike Scott fronting Company L and Lay It On The Line whilst also releasing several solo records. However, the band knew there would be a time they would take to the stage once more, and reunited briefly in 2015 to hit the road before compiling ‘Battered & Bruised: The Best Of Phinius Gage‘ to showcase their favourite tunes (and a few unreleased gems) remastered and out there to remind the world what they’ve been missing since the Gage have been away.

The album is available now on all major digital platforms, along with our Bandcamp page below.
